I used to eat outside food and potato chips, home cooked also hawker standard with lots of seasonings. Last year I went to see a doctor because of fever. She check my BP and said I have hypertension. I asked her if I need to take medication, she told me no need first, told me to eat home cooked with less salt and seasoning then monitor with a good BP meter for two weeks.

I started eating home cooked food and natural food with lots of fruits and vegetables. After two days, my BP became normal. Till now it is normal, and I can still eat one hawker meal a day, if I want to and BP will still be normal.

My great grandfather one day smoke one pack of kretek cigaratte ( the super unhealthy one i think banned in Singapore ) live till 95 years old.

Thats is great becos he got good genes.
