manufacturer's warranty is supported since this is direct from fitbit.

HOWEVER, they cover local warranty in US only.
Fitbit do not ship devices outside US. (unless for retailers/resellers)

I will take the extra step to handle the logistics and exchange personally for any defects within 3month period.

Do note that fitbit does not cover international warranty (only US)
Even if you bought from a retailer in sg its the same!

this is purely personal warranty out of goodwill

Actually i opt out my Force (sorry kid!) and decided to get my own flex also. Realised i dont need the extra altimeter functions and dont like the time display etc. too much info on display

for me, i like new gadget.

i dont have habit of wearing watches. but after wearing flex, i did some silly **** all the time like.. i.e. lift up my wrist and look at the flex for time.... bizarre but true. so figure force might be what i was destined with anyway. plus the notifications feature sounds tempting

my only potential complain is the size of the Force might be too big for my small wrist... i find the form factor of jawbone Up just nice, flex is reasonable.
