hi, dropped my phone and display only shows vertical blue lines.
was finding repair shop and the quotes were like 70+
contract is going to end in three months so i thought maybe i can try fixing myself...

came across ebay and the screen is just around 30+ do you think i should try?
should be display problem right? just change the screen and its ok...?

i dont think think its simply just "changing screen" unless you have the basic knowledge of repairing phone.

for $40 I wont take the risk to brick my $600 phone. its a no brainer decision

TS, there's few possibilities and unless you have a little tech background, you might wanna try taking it apart to check.

It could only be a loose connector..

ifixit.com is a good place to refer to for this.

else, better send it to a reputable repair-shop then having more issue after repaired.

Don't save $40+ end up paying $300+ for early recontract or stuck with a dumbphone until your recontract date...

I once tried to change DS Lite casing due to loose cover. YouTube instructions looked simple enough.
Ordered parts in and try. End up having to buy new 3DS XL for my son
