Fix non-working Face ID for iPhone XR?

Has anyone managed to fix their non-working Face ID on their iPhone XR?
Any recommendations on shops that can fix it for a reasonable price?
I've had shops telling me that they can try to fix it for $x but no guarantee and I still have to pay if it doesn't work. Who would want to go for that....?

Only  is able to get it fixed.
Face ID Auth element is tied to logic board and has to be paired by 

I suggest u dont try. Go back to apple. True tone might not work also. Yes cost of repair will be quite chor.

my current iPhone X, out of warranty, have issue with faceid and the ambient sensor. the consultant told me for faceid issue is to do a 1-1 replacement. I was told for iPhone X will be 800plus sgd, and only 90days warranty.

I suggest just buy a new phone instead. nonetheless, book an appointment with Apple to do the diagnose.

Could cost up to $589 for repairs.

I ended up trading in my iPhone XR for $400 (a few months ago) to Starhub to buy a new phone. They don't check, nor care, about non-working Face ID.

Aww. Should have replaced the battery officially before it went dead and needed a logic board fix

That's what I did. I replace screen at third party. They ruin my face Id and camera . In the end I go back 3rd party fix
