I have a fixed deposit that is maturing soon.

Do I have to die die go to the bank on the maturity date to redeem the fixed D, or I can go down a week or 2 later?

u can go down later but if u want to renew the FD again it may instead start on the date u went down instead of the date when it matured

You can collect anytime. If no instruction given to the bank, your fund will be idle until you collect it or renew it on the day you go down.

Can't though.

The bank that holds my FD doesn't have IB feature.

usually few ways
- auto renew
- self collect
- credit to own saving account (same bank)

i feel it's better that you call up to double check their default instruction (i.e auto-renew or self-collect)
