DBS have this CASA saving account promotion if I'm not wrong still on till 31st of May to earmarked your money till 31st of Oct inside saving account for 6mths @ 2.3%. But if you joins this promotion now it's likely only can last 5mths and therefore you can only gets around 5mths interests. And CASA is not capped @ 19.99k can up till 1M I think? But this promotion can only be done at branch. Whoever interested best is to give them a call before proceed to their branch. Hope this info helps.

From last year onwards, it has been dropping to a low of 2 5%...
When will it rises?

From economic point of view Banks took your money into their fixed deposit and lend the money out to businesses to make more money, from that point of view, fixed deposit return will never beat inflation. So if you don't want your money to be eaten up by inflation, you should invest in something better than fixed deposit. of course investing in other investment will have risk of losing your capital. That is a risk that we may have to take so that our money will not go into fixed deposit and eaten alive by inflation. We need our money to work harder for us, not we work harder for the money.
