Fixing a clogged inkjet printer

I have a Epson l350 that got clogged printhead.

Common solutions online needs ammonia as the cleaning solution.

Anyone knows what household cleaning supplies contain ammonia in Singapore? In the US people use windex for unclogging but we don’t use that in singapore.

Windex is just the brand name that became the default, like 'xerox'... if you want, any of the standard blue glass cleaners should be similar in composition to windex. Check ingredient list for ammonium hydroxide.

Thanks for the reply, I thought using the brand would be easier for people to recall rather than the chemical compound. I’ll get a bottle of rubbing alcohol and try in the meantime.

Clean... Then u figure out what color is clock

If red

Then i will spam print A4 full red paper... Print until the color is good

Check those window cleaners. I remember seeing ammonia being one of the ingredients.

Ah, I did not see this before I posted. This confirms that I did not recall wrongly.

just water... just keep on wiping the printhead with wet cloth

wipe until the ink on cloth is clean and consistent... then massive printing to clear everything


if tubing clogged... then problem...

I dismantled the print head and pump water through it.
weirdly, i print out blank pages after putting the print head back. After doing ink flushing, the print out has the same horizontal banding.

Now I am spam printing different colours + spam ink flushing because all four of my print heads got clogged. After print 5 pages of four colour bars, only yellow returned to normal.

Should I continue to spam ink flushing?

seems like power flushing isnt working for you. when mine clogged last time, i put in a bowl of warm water, just enough to submerge the print head, then used my fingers to rub it

I tried to submerge the printhead with warm water but didn’t work.
Maybe I’ll try ammonia next

does printing in high quality solve your problem?

Unfortunately not, I printed 4 colour bars at best quality for quite some time the clog still doesn’t clear up.

When I compare the lines, the missing lines are the same for about 4 nozzles checks. Not sure if this information helps
