Flash drive for bootable Windows install

Do certain flash drives boot and read faster?

Or all about the same just get the cheapest would do?

This also depends on your system and also bootable drive install. If ssd will be much faster installing, harddisk slightly slower. Normally not more than 10mins for ssd. Usb 3.0 much more faster but if your usb port is usb 2.0, the speed will be usb 2.0. Advice is buy a better metal type of usb 2.0 from sony or verbatim, installing from usb 2.0 not more 20mins.

I normally use sandisk drives.. that time lazada got promo. snapped up a few. One for crucial apps. the rest for bootable OSes to put on my key ring

Thank you, I received some fake capacity thumbdive think actual capacity only around 6GB. was thinking of just using them as install disk for windows and OSX

Bought your USB flash disk from eBay, Qoo10 or Taobao?
