Surprised to have way more legroom as compared to SQ. My first flight with JAL just one week ago. Food wise, SQ wins hands down.

Yes, ANA is better in a way. Feels more premium.

SQ food is getting worse in the last few years. ANA is better imo.

i already stop taking SQ since 2009
since then i ANA all the way
JAL not try before as it timely is not able to suits mine preferance

Yes. Clear immigration, take luggage, check in again at the domestic airport, take shuttle bus

Immigration was pretty fast when my flight landed around 6am and my next flight was 1.5hrs away.

I manage to clear everything and reach domestic terminal in around 45mins.

By the way. I made a mistake. It's check in at international terminal before taking shuttle bus to domestic terminal.

1hr is just nice enough but 30min too close call to comfort
usually if i land in haneda to sapporo its damm early morning when the skies still dark
so i stamp passport and check out luggage damm fast

narita sometimes is slow

i try both narita and haneda to sapporo before
haneda is faster on check out but u need to check out lugage and check in again and bus from intl term to domastic term make sure u take the correct bus if not u GG if u not enojugh time

for narita is within the terminal i check out n walk to next and damm easy

JAL usually operate out of haneda comapare to ANA
which is usually narita
for lazy is i will pick ANA and narita

but haneda got more shopping in transit vs narita to me i sitll got time t have a hot UDON at haneda before i check in for sapporo flight from haneda

and do some window shopping

Took JAL to and fro Singapore/NYC.

Their 777-Dreamliner is spacious and comfortable.

I took 2 weeks ago to Sapporo...
SG to haneda and back flight is comfy... seat is bigger than sq... food cos I took overnight flight both ways... I find it not nice... sg to haneda I ate soup plus hard bread for breakfast... return I had some sausage thingy but I din really like it... they only serve one meal and that is like 2 hours before landing...

Haneda to sapporo domestic flight, its quite cramp... 3 4 3 configuration on 777... like budget lor... serve one drink on board...

SG to Sapporo need to clear immigration, retrieve baggage when land at haneda... like Witch King said need to check in at international terminal then go domestic via bus... u will undergo security check here before boarding bus, bus to domestic terminal is time specific de... like very 15-20mins one... in addition, take the correct bus cos the area to wait same as ANA... and ANA and JAL terminal is different and quite far away... actually when I was there, another oso gt short transit, they held out his name then brought him through whole process but whether or not he made it for his flight I dunno... cos I selected 3 hours transit (with parents who dun really wanna run de...)

Sapporo to SG no need take baggage it's checked in all the way from CTS... but at haneda the route to international airport I feel not as straight forward... cos need to exit without baggage wait for correct bus then go international terminal to clear immigration...

I've only flown JL's B789 in Premium Economy and B738 in Economy and B788 in Economy. I find them okay and managed to sleep on the longhaul flights as well.

I find the food and service is good. Hope to take them again to Japan on Christmas weekend.
