u shld look out for Thai Airways promo, usually around $660 (30kg, decent food, online check in, choose seat etc)

The BKK to Sapporo leg is usually not full, so can get the whole row of seats to lie flat. Transiting at BKK is the only sian part bcos the airport is poorly designed & not traveller friendly.

u need to go to their Promo link on TG website & search from there. Searching from main website or OTA will not get u the promo fares.

flew once on Scoot (to Taiwan) & never again.

terribly uncomfortable seat & back rest ... not much legroom so I had to sit pretty upright, but there's no headrest & back rest was at a very uncomfortable angle & hard. Had to use my pouch as a headrest.

I see. You must be quite big. I flew a few times to taipei on scoot but i always upgrade to yellow seats. Seems alright for me.

Haven't flown with them to tokyo yet but was considering. Surprised that they now also fly to hokkaido. But seems people here don't have good experience with scoot.

Board at 1am. Then at 2am broadcast the loud music and announcement for food and merchandise :s8:.

Yes must upgrade to a better seat with head rest. The normal seat is horrible.

Just sharing - will be heading for Sapporo..soon.

I will be taking Jetstar to Osaka and then take a Domestic flight to Sapporo.
Depart Singapore -1am
Transit Kaoshsiung
Arrive Osaka 10.45am before 11am.

Should be taking the JAL Domestic flight to Sapporo- early afternoon.

The total cost for airticket so far cost me SGD1000 .per pax

I think is worth...:D Wish me Luck...:D

Anyone took the scoot direct flight to Sapporo recently? How’s the flight?

Wanting to go in feb22
Scoot direct including baggage, food and seat selection is $950
All others above 1.3k and have to transit Tokyo

Am wondering to save the hassle is it worth it to just scoot direct. (worried transfer in Tokyo 2-3hrs insufficient to clear customs at the international terminal then make way to domestic airport as traveling with parents)

i took Scoot Plus from Sapporo to SG, in early Nov22

the Econ section was not crowded, many empty seats so passengers could find space to lie down

i took Scoot Econ to Osaka, it was surprisingly ok ... i used a neck rest to support my lower back

Done it twice with JAL and ANA as long it is one booking no worries they have many flights and will bump you to the next one if you happen to miss connecting flight.

Both times around 2-3 hours connections, no problem and did not miss flight. Only thing is need to collect luggage and check in domestic flight and ensure airport is the same Narita or Haneda for both internarional and domestic.

I would say experience better than SQ and with full fledge benefits.
