If sinkie open fnb in place like Thailand or Vietnam don't think can survive.
Their food is way more better and cheap.
People won't eat a plate of chicken rice or bowl of WTM paying 8 dollar in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, china, Japan or Korea.

Can always open a food court or build a hawker centre and rent to their local hawkers there to sell their own local dishes. You can be the landlord and collect monthly while selling drinks only

Actually the gahmen just need to make law that a business (be it landlord / F&B / Supplier / Manufacturer) cannot make profit of more than 15%. Easily solve all problems.

Technically, most businesses with a physical presence has a net profit of less than 15% after all the costs. Landlord even more Jia lat, usually 4% (considered good) gross profit, but after cost, left a little bit.

u calculate how much they have to do to even hit even
still have overhead cost n the daily food ingredients. thats not cheap lor

i think govt shld start with HDB ones first
they rent out 10 of Ks and then if the tenant go n increase prices for the food stalls without much valid reason, then time to say no and cannot anyhow let them increase
