last time u all go this HK Cafe at Balestier road.. did u all try the 3 off menu items? i read KF Seetho article abt it. Waxed meat, Waxed liver, Luo Cheong. The owners import them straight from HK. limited quantities, they say its handmade by some masters from HK..

I tried it. Quite nice.

tom's palette 3rd week specials for 6th anniversary:

white wine and lychee sorbet + hazelnut latte... white wine not as high as red wine.... but still very very nice... it goes well with the lychee... and hazelnut latte was better than i expected... the latte is really powerful and nice... so finish the hazelnut latte before white wine... cos the white wine sorbet was able to wash away the powerful latte aftertaste at the end....


pear and brandied dates + rosemary apple... rather unconventional tasting.....

not sure what u mean by that but i wouldn't have known of the place if ieat never recommend. and yes it is full house, i waited bout 20 minutes for a table.
and having tried the lunch set, IMHO it is really awesome. for the price/portion/quality, totally worth it

Lucky the kway chup stall was opened.
I remember someone recommend before.
Th stall owners, 2 brother i think, were very nice. One of them ask me how come i not scared of all the bui bui bak
