Ok its like this: I'm having foot rot, its about 3 weeks already, initially went to polyclinic and got anti-fungal cream but didn't work, so went to hospital A&E to get cream, seems better, but there is still peeling of skin. Now it spread to both my hands. Previously, I had a record with the podiatrist at KTPH, was discharged 3 months ago, but was given open appoinment till june this year. Was thinking of going to see the podiatrist for help.

Try Lamisil gel form, can get it at all guardian stores as OTC.
Lamisil should work way better than the miconazole given in camp and polyclinic.
You need to keep your foot dry and cool. avoid bursting the vesicles.
foot rot is caused by common fungus colonised on the skin. it only causes a pathological effect when your skin's resistance is lowered, by moisture or by heat.
therefore, its unlikely to spread from your foot to your hands.
peeling of skin occurs when the old lesions heal. thats normal.
to avoid recalcitrant lesions, apply the cream regularly and avoid moisture and heat. keep applying on the inactive lesion for another week to ensure the fungus are fully killed.
if all creams dont work, you may need a more vigorous treatment, such as itraconazole oral therapy.
