Dear all, Happy Lunar New Year! Btw, can I check what hsf are you guys using? Am getting the kf variant soon but not too sure which hsf to get. Any air coolers to recommend? Read that Noctua NH-12 is recommended but don't see it being sold locally online. TIA!

Make sure whatever cooler you buy comes with the LGA1700 backplate included, otherwise you can't use it out of the box and have to order it separately.

I bought a 12700F and paired it with a Scythe Fuma 2 that you can buy a LGA1700 mounting kit locally since I needed it to build it before CNY. I did replace both stock 1200rpm fans with 2400 rpm Scythe Wondersnails and I have a high airflow case.

At absolute max 180W package power for this non-K CPU from small FTT Prime95 stress tests are around 78C. CB23 is about 155W at around 72C, vary slightly depending on AC running or not.

Really depends on how high you want to OC under air.

It's always good to have iGPU. But i still went for a F for my 10700F.

igpu is a nice to have if the cost difference is minimal (<$30 imo), useful especially for troubleshooting purposes.

If you do video editing in Adobe Premier, the iGPU is very useful since you can use the much improved Quicksync in parallel to the GPU when editing.

You can consider the ID-Cooling SE-226 XT. The design is pretty much the same as the Scythe Mugen 5, and it comes with LGA 1700 support right out of the box. It is available at Shopee for around 54 bucks without aRGB, and slightly more with aRGB.
If you want to get a better air cooler, then the Scythe Fuma 2 is a good heatsink fan. But you will need to shell out extra for the LGA 1700 mounting kit which makes it less attractive due to quite a substantial increase in price @ 15 bucks over at Lazada.
