Sorry gurus.

Asking again to see if this bfcm deal from dream core is worth to buy!

https://www.dreamcore.com.sg/product/dreamcore-black-friday-cyber-monday-dream-build-special-edition/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=feed&utm_content=marketyze_FB_SG_WEB_AWA_LC01_Expansion_Female&utm_term=AWA_LC10_CyberMonday_Female+-+Copy&utm_campaign=marketyze_FB_SG_WEB_AWA_Female&fbclid=IwAR3Ni1MAjHeodgG1vUbTXqmyMvaK2bUWp_xLOAhulZQwHhu-yjz1XKppeco

Can pls advise if the 999 is worth it? Or should I wait for aftershock 1212 sale?

only thing i see not worth is the use of 3600mhz ram, ur just paying more for performance u cant use, since both the 10400f and h410 do not support memory speeds faster than intel official spec, which in this case is 2666mhz. u could probably try to sell the 3600mhz ram (which can fetch a premium) and get some cheaper 2666mhz ram to offset the cost of the rig.

Mobo and Cpu don’t allow xmp. Unless default ram price is the same as those 3600, no point going for it as you cannot use it

They probably cut some deal with supplier and bought in large volume. So if can give 3600 at same price of 2666/3200 then why not.

Thanks guys! Seems like this deal sounds good.
I'm really sorry I don't really understand what the comments were... About the ram and stuff

Is there anything I should be adding on. Or be worried about?

I heard like usually we need add on 1tb hdd?

Why don’t you get the Ryzen 3600 combo with 5600xt instead? That one more worth imo. The monitor they giving is crap...

Is it? Typically I just use it to do my work (mainly word docs and stuff) and surf the Web. Light gaming like dota 2 (very not often)

Is the amd one more suited for Web usage?

I don't play fps or 3d games I'll vomit 😂

Basically, to use 3600mhz rams, your mobo and cpu needs to be overclockable, otherwise it will run at 2666. But if it’s a combo deal and you don’t get to chose than it’s fine.

they dont show u the amd system price until u go and configure... its $1.25k vs $1k for the intel build.

if like that ah, not heavy usage, dont even need dedicated gpu. u can consider aftershock ready to ship vision mini. with upgrade to 4650g (more powerful than 10400 and strong enough integrated graphics for dota 2), total $840, some more get twice the storage. u do lose out on the bundled monitor though.

Thank you for the advice! Ill take a look at it. Didn't know there was more options that can suit me

I was thinking of just getting this 999 bundle then plus 70 for 1tb hdd and 25 for delivery since its rainbowish.

All in all. I guess this build will suit my need?
