Alas, If only the following plan comes with TP-Link EB810V ( WiFi 7) Router with no top-Up, I will join in a heartbeat. I guess i Just have to continue waiting, and maybe other telcos will come up with better offers in the mean time.

HomeHub+ UltraSports: 1 Year FREE 10Gbps Broadband

$45.00

per month

For first year, $85 per month thereafter.

HomeHub+ UltraSports: 1 Year FREE 10Gbps Broadband is also ONR and not TP-Link Router. Must top up.

UltraSpeed 10Gbps with WiFi 7 router

$69.95 per month

  • 1 Free TP-Link EB810V WiFi 7 router with Optical Network Terminal
  • Disney+ Standard on us for 12 months and Amazon Prime on us for 3 months
  • Enjoy free installation & advice on the best router placement for optimum WiFi experience

This one also good....but no Netflix.....should let customers choose whether they want Netflix or Disney+...thne i think sign-up sales will definitely go up.
Only Homehub+ which has both TV and Internet then you can get free netflix. We are not paying for Netflix. Many years ago i suggested it.

that's why....if TP one...i sign up immediately....haiz
That is impossible as the price is $65/mth only. The TV box has a rental fee. Internet is $59 + $6 for Tv box. Can ask for ONT and buy own router. Impossible to offer lower than that. Unless IT Show offer it.

May I ask what is the advantage of using ONT with own router compared to ONR? I am not very tech savvy.

Currently I am using 2 units Nokia mesh Beacon 1. When I re-contracted 2 years ago, was given 1 unit of Nokia Beacon 2 and is still lying in the store room now. Thought of pairing it with the ONR provided. What am I losing out if I do it this way?

Not losing out in your case. Only if you have a good router then you may feel that ONR is the limitation. The ONR is not a limitation when you are using the super lousy Nokia Beacon 1.

Nokia XS-2426X-A ONR (AX6000) > Nokia Beacon 2 (AX1800) > Nokia Beacon 1 (AC1200)

Nokia XS-2426X-A + Nokia Beacon 2 >> two Nokia Beacon 1

I call Nokia Beacon 1 the worst wireless router from any Singapore ISPs since 2014 along with Singtel AC Plus.

BTW, if you go with the S$29.55 per month 5Gbps special offer ONR option, you will also get another Nokia Beacon 2. You can use your two Nokia Beacon 2 as mesh nodes if needed.

Not so sure about the Homehub+ plan with ONR, probably no extra Nokia Beacon 2. But you can still use your one unit of Nokia Beacon 2 to mesh with the Nokia ONR.

Thanks Xiaofan.

How do you sign up for this offer? Just call 1630 to sign up?

Will probably ditch the TV if I can get this offer since now paying to watch advertisement which I find it ridiculous.

You can check out this thread.

It is said that you can either sign up online (with some tricks) or physical shop (but you may need to show then the online offer links or screenshots as some of them may not know the existence of the special offers).

I signed up on the website using the link provided in this thread.

My main initial issue with the web signup was that my current hub ID couldn’t be used.

Hence I started with a temp email address which can receive the OTP, then proceed with the signup. At some point in time I had to login with my regular hub ID and I didn’t have to jump through any further hoops after that.

Sign-up links:

Call 1630 to ask for recontract to this package. Sales says only for new sign up. Same as the $29.55 broadband. :(

FYI, the S$29.55 per month Starhub 5Gbps special offers (ONT or ONR options) are also for existing users in reality, even though the website says the offers are only for new sign-up. You can go to the following thread to get more info. Quite some existing users have signed up.

If you need TV packs, then you do not have choices but to go with either Starhub (ONR for cheaper plans, ONT+WiFi 7 router for more expensive plans) and Singtel (ONR).

For those who do not mind using ONR, Singtel has quite some new Entertainment Bundle as well. Take note the WiFi 6 router or WiFi 6 mesh are lousy (Nokia XS-2424X-A ONR will be better than them). The WiFi 7 router bundled is decent (TP-Link HB810, similar wireless spec as TP-Link EB810v).
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/fibre-broadband-plans
(5Gbps bundle is more worth it than 10Gbps plan).
5Gbps (WiFi 6) + Entertainment Bundle, at S$47.76 per month
5Gbps Mesh (WiFi 6) + Entertainment Bundle, at S$54.40 per month
5Gbps (WiFi 7) + Entertainment Bundle, at S$63.56 per month (includes 1 x HB810 WiFi 7 router)

10Gbps Mesh (WiFi 6) + Entertainment Bundle, at S$64.50 per month
10Gbps (WiFi 7) + Entertainment Bundle, at S$98.10 per month (Includes 2 x HB810 WiFi 7 routers)

They come with the following contents. Digital Voice is free for Singtel. TV box rental is free.

1 x Singtel TV Local Language TV Pack
1 x Singtel TV Sports Pack
24 FREE months of Android TV Set-Top Box
12 months of Viu Premium
12 months of Disney+ Premium
12 months of Amazon Prime

Extra HB810 is at S$16.80 per month, a bit more expensive than EB810 from Starhub (S$15 per month or S$360 cash and carry).
