Too bad they cannot launch due to red tapes by URA.

Right move by URA since the last min changes by the Developer will affect those who intend to buy.

Other than that, the project look quite decent (other than the freebies which most prob. is already included in the high prices!)

Developers give discount or "freebies" is to make it more marketable, so they do not get stuck with units that cannot sell when a competitor launches nearby, they are always affected.

They do not want to be caught by the other launch beside it, which is my guess, hence the urgency to push to sell.

Anyone knows what other measures doesn't affect Forestville, e.g does the Revise stamp duties and down payment affect this EC.

For ECs those with outstanding loan with HDB can get a 80% loan subject to bank's approval. Applicable for new EC purchase bought after 12 Jan. No ABSD for second timer as the buyer will sell their HDB within 6 months of TOP.

Showflat is closed till further notice. Still pending updates from the developer.

The new measures such as the restriction of maximum size and the multi-generation rule for the dual-key units will not apply to Forestville.

Will let you folks know once there is any new update.

Sometime by End of June according to newspapers reports. Anyway , I believe it wun be good as Twin Fountains due to many factors....

Latest Update for Forestville EC:

Gonna be open to public for sale on next Fri (28th June).

E-application for Public => 25th to 27 Jun 2013 (Tues to Thur)
Booking of Units for Public => 28 June 2013 (Fri) onwards

*However, do note that previous clients who had submitted their interest during Dec'12 will be given priority to make the unit bookings earlier (this coming weekend).

the new EC restrictions below (released in Jan'13) will not apply to Forestville EC.
a) The maximum strata floor area of new EC units will be capped at 160 square metres. ==> Not Applicable!

b) Sales of new dual-key EC units will be restricted to multi-generational families only. ==> Not Applicable!

2BR (850sqft) : $597k onwards
3BR (1033-1098sqft) : $721k onwards
3BR Dual Key (1249-1302sqft) : $835k onwards
4BR (1195-1249sqft) : $874k onwards
4BR Dual Key (1399-1464sqft) : $1,013k onwards
5BR (1496sqft) : $1,079k onwards
5BR Dual Key (1625sqft) : $1,199k onwards
