I have a few friends that are. For myself, I'm trading forex part time. For about 2 hours at night, every night.

One is trading futures. Doing quite well... but quite a big start up capital if you ask me. As for the forex one, he is doing ok. Surviving but barely? Would ask you to seriously reconsider the full time thing unless you havw the capital and a very solid system / strat you can stick to.

Ignore forex predator. He is a troll and a clone of stock predator and also a clone of forex charting sexpert. On the internet we meet everyone. Hahaha

You're welcome! All the best man. Hopefully if you do go full time, it works out for you! This whole trading thing is really "to each his own". Hahaha

There are 4 personality types.

1. Driver - Objective Focus, but too impatience.
2. Expressive - Big Picture Focus, but low attention on detail.
3. Analytical - Process Oriented, but too unemotional.
4. Amiable - People Focus, but too emotional.

If you are not the Analytical type, very difficult to succeed in trading.

To be a good trader, you must be patience, have good attention to detail, process oriented and unemotional.
