no one knows except big boys unfortunately, but just basing solely on technical charts for yen pairs, they are ripe for reversals and yen to weaken pretty soon. they did a classic london dump on pairs like EurJpy yesterday and today is friday, likely time for them to take back their money

Hopefully it will push back into the old trend. Was caught in the big sell off when i was going long lol

hmm US tariffs kicked in already and China is going to wack back with own details, if no deal by today or weekend, then yen might just pump again

plus500 seems ok, no comms and decent spreads, can also trade CFDs on US stocks and other products like commodities etc

I tried the demo and it seem fine but the problem with plus500 is that i am not able to connect to the mobile app when i am using tpg mobile network to access. As i relies on mobile network alot, plus500 is not for me. Anyone tried IG trading is it any good?

oh, tpg blocked it or something? i opened IG and CMC accounts before just to check their spreads/comms/products etc, not much difference between them and other regulated brokers in SG in terms of forex spreads...they both offer MT4 app on mobile as well so maybe you can use that

yea IG is pretty decent, brokers regulated in SG mostly all same i think, leverage max 1:50 and spreads also similar...unless you are after their other value services like analysis etc, i know IG has this Popular section which shows the top stocks CFDs etc while CMC has bunch of analytical tools like Pattern spotting for you. I remember IG on commods have a min stop loss which was quite unfavourable to me

unless you try those offshore unregulated brokers, leverage gao gao 1:500 and spreads even lower but risk of losing money higher

Thanks man. True, i used to view ‘SGD’ as ‘safe haven’ currencies like the CHF and YEN. Guess i cant do the same now.
