Say you put $10k inside, u go buy like 5 or 6 lots... When your unrealised PNL suddenly hit $8k. They can force close your position and you are suddenly left with only less than $2k funds inside your account with no position to recover your loss later. Go figure this first

watch for creditors to come knocking as the slip exceeded account balance without negative portfolio protection. giving the rights for the broker to find you for repayment.

very dangerous game. esp when on volitile symbols like xau xag xpt copper or some exotics.

forex can make quick big money, can also lose a lot of money in short duration.
Ur thread give them some guidance.... to act cautious before jump off.

i believe there are some successful forex traders....... just not many.....

personally I think this is a wrong impression ... every instrument (stocks, bond, commodities, forex, options) have their pros and cons ... we need to take time to know and understand them as much as we can in order to trade them ... automation is possible but it should not be your starting point ... there are so many failure with EAs which don't work like one of the bros has said in a few posts up ... think about it, if it's so easy, everyone in this world would be rich in no time liao ...

Systematic traders and openly show results are far and few. There's one that was recently interviewed on YouTube. He used to be a NASA scientist.

Another well know guy trade (or buy stocks) based on research and consumer habits.

One need to pick the instrument / method based on their habits/lifestyle/pyschic.

Well. Maybe arsenal is Brad. Haa

Anyway I see he is trading GbpJpy. One of my most hated pair. Because it's a very irrational pair to trade. And especially at 15min. It can move extremely fast versus EurJpy and UsdJpy.
