maybe but not in this context :
you visit other counties observe their norms
just like we don’t accept our favourite tourists from you know where spitting on floor , defacating in public or with toilet cubicle doors open haha
Is that even comparable?
Sharing a pizza vs spitting/ shitting in public places?

When I was in Italy recently, I also had some anxiety ordering pizza, as looking around, everyone including Italian kids had an entire pizza each. The pizza was not small, it was easily 11-12 inches wide.
In the end I ordered only 1 pizza for 2 to share, but I also ordered a few starters and drinks. So I guess its about the same cost as ordering 2 pizzas. Anyway didn't get suan like these tourists. LOL

And in the end, I noticed a lot of the Italian kids didn't finish their pizza, they had leftovers and they didn't ask for doggie bags

Italian pizza is very thin crust and no thick rim. Small diameter too can fit on normal size plate. More focus on the ingredients.

I small eater also can solo one italian pizza by myself.
The tourists probably didn't know it's thin n small

Can 1 person sit 1 table order 1 pizza each? Order at the opening then go shopping, at closing time come back throw the pizza?

can blame pizza hut and their "personal pizza" size, making everyone think that any pizza larger than 6 inches diameter is meant for more than 1 person

Alot countries also same. Even Japan u order 1 bowl of ramen for 2 pax to share some restaurants will kick u out.
Ramen make sense, but pizza is typically a shared food. Unless they ordered the 5 pizzas are small, personal size pizzas

one pizza sliced into 8
5 pizzas ordered = 40 slices

16 tourists
so .. where's the prob?

🤔
They didn't share the chairs they were sitting probably.

Or the owner earned less $ per table compared to their social norms where 1 person eat 1 whole pizza each.

that's considered an equivalent to a large size pizza here, is it? :s11:

from the video, they did?
why would they sit separately, far apart to share 5 pizzas then? :s11:

anw like some have said, it's like a 'culture' for some ppl (ourselves inclusive) to be sharing pizza
