Hi mods

Now asking whose clone is it also infractable? In what way was is this "mini-moding"?

Edit : i got an infraction also for posting "hope the lorry is ok"

In what way is this forum nuisance/troublemaking? I've reported worst comments than this.

If you guys are out to fix me, just p-ban me straight. No need resort to such antics

I want the mod responsible for issuing these 2 infractions to come out and justify it

4. Derailing / Mini Modding
If you are talking about anything beside the thread topic, then you are derailing.

Users who derail / mini-mod will be deemed as public nuisance and infracted.
Persistent offenders will be banned.

We will not tolerate anybody weaponizing fake news or foreign agent label to silence difference of opinion, this is also a form of mini-modding. Users who do so will be infracted and persistent offenders will be banned.

@cranthir

I posted hope the lorry is ok. I got points for it

I reported a comment in the thread and report was rejected with "wrong to ask about sorry driver?" As reason.

What "sorry driver" is this referring to? Can clarify?

Whats with this?

And how do you define mini-moding?

Please keep this thread open until i have replied. Thanks

Dear @PaulLevesque,

Thank you for your feedback.

Regarding your report, I would like to clarify that there is a clear difference between asking about the well-being of a lorry (which is an inanimate object) and inquiring about the well-being of a human being (in this case, the lorry driver).

Your initial comment asking if the lorry is "okay" was inappropriate in the context of a serious incident involving a human being. That’s why the infraction was issued. On the other hand, asking about the lorry driver’s well-being is completely acceptable, as the driver is a human being, and that’s why your report regarding the comment about the driver was rejected.

It’s important for us all to maintain a respectful and relevant tone in our discussions, especially regarding sensitive topics like accidents. We kindly ask that you refrain from making unnecessary disruptions in the forum by focusing on trivial issues or challenging the moderation process. This type of behavior is not constructive and can detract from the overall quality of the forum.

As a reminder, this is a community platform, and everyone is expected to engage with respect and consideration. Please take this as a final reminder to align your behavior with these standards.

Thank you for understanding.

Best regards,
Moderator

P.S.: Sorry driver is a typo for Lorry driver

I asked about the lorry as it is still a property under the driver's care. Any damages to it will still cause headache to the driver.

" Your initial comment asking if the lorry is "okay" was inappropriate in the context of a serious incident involving a human being."

I in no way mocked anybody or said anything about the cyclists. What inappropriate comment was made?

"We kindly ask that you refrain from making unnecessary disruptions in the forum by focusing on trivial issues or challenging the moderation process. This type of behavior is not constructive and can detract from the overall quality of the forum."

What sort of unnecessary distruption was i making? Can you please point it out?

If appealing against infraction is considered " trivial issues and challenging the moderation process", what is this section of the forum for? If that's how you really feel, you have my blessing to just p-ban me with immediate effect.

Hello @PaulLevesque ,

Thank you for your follow-up message.

To address your points:

1. Regarding your comment about the lorry’s well-being: While I understand your explanation that the lorry is "property under the driver’s care," the context of the thread was an accident involving a human being—a cyclist. Asking about the well-being of a non-living object (the lorry) in this context detracts from the focus of the discussion, which should be on the individuals involved, particularly the driver and cyclist.

2. Your Report on the Other User’s Comment: You made a comment about the lorry, which is a non-human object, but then reported another user for asking about the *driver*'s well-being. This creates a contradiction: you're engaging in behavior that you later report others for. It’s important to recognize the inconsistency here. Asking about the driver’s well-being, a human, is entirely different from asking about the lorry itself.

3. On Your Appeal and the Moderation Process: The feedback section is for users to express concerns or seek clarification about moderation decisions. However, it is not a platform to continuously challenge moderation actions or micromanage the forum’s standards. You stated that if we disagree with your approach, you would "bless us to just p-ban you with immediate effect." This statement suggests an attempt to dictate the direction of our moderation process, which is not acceptable. The moderation team is tasked with ensuring the forum remains focused and productive, and we make decisions based on that objective, not on individual user preferences.

4. Moving Forward: If you continue to focus on trivial issues or challenge the moderation process in this manner, it will lead to further disruption. We ask that you refrain from attempting to control or influence the moderation team’s decisions. Our goal is to maintain a respectful, constructive environment for all users, and continuing this pattern of behavior will only hinder that.

We would prefer to keep the forum a place where meaningful discussion can happen without constant micromanagement of the moderation process. Please understand that further disruptive behavior may result in additional actions, including a temporary or permanent ban if necessary.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Best regards,
c
