FPS keeps resetting itself to 60fps

Hi guys. Just wanna know why sometimes my monitor refresh rate settings keep resetting itself to 60hz from 144hz? am i missing something?

Ati? U switch to TV and back to monitor will have this problem

yeah v-sync on for diablo3. but not every time i play that it will reset. so i dunno why.

U need v-sync for what. Just let the screen tearing haha

Try set Back ground and fore ground FPS in D3 options to 150.
