I think really depends on taste

Honestly it's a refreshing look compared to the rest of the market

Yes to some it can look like a case with wood tacked on but IMO it's tastefully done

Never had this issue, check with the shop if you can get a replacement

I think yours is due to shipment and drop ba.. overall this case is sturdy, but personally I dont like this case at all. side mesh panel is a big joke. airflow wise still ok for aircoolers. also a joke for putting in some liquid AIO that has thicker rads.

What's the issue with thicker rad? Was thinking of getting it because of the side mesh (lazy to manage the interiors aesthetic).

It's not the roomiest case for radiator support. You have to check clearances before installing especially if you are considering a high end GPU (e.g. RTX4080 or RX7900XTX) with a thick radiator (e.g. Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360)

The Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 and the RTX4080 reference or RX7900XTX Pulse are known to fit but longer GPUs might not work.

Honestly, if you are buying a Fractal North, you are buying for the aesthetic (same goes for cases like Hyte Y60), otherwise you would be better served with a more flexible case like the Lancool 216 or Lancool 3. It's not like you can't run a high end triple rad in this setup but you probably need to check your clearances for your current parts.

What's the issue with thicker rad? Was thinking of getting it because of the side mesh (lazy to manage the interiors aesthetic).

cos the top you cannot mount any 280 or 360 rad. so your only option is to mount at the front, which will be drawing warm air. also at the top if you put a 240 LF2, the rad will hit motherboard VRMs and Rear I/O shield. As most motherboard these days are at 45mm tall. if you have 38mm to 40mm tall then you can consider this case.

the case really is very good airflow, idle temp for my 7900xtx have been improved almost 10c alone.
