This is very true.... otherwise it will be hard for this acquisition to be DPU accreditive. Good for existing shareholders... but then if my purchase price was at $1.9, with this PO, my avg price will be pushed up... I don't think I will want to apply any excess in this deal, except to round up odd lots...

After nearly 13 years since its IPO in Jul 2006, FCT finally carries out its maiden EFR for retail investors. All these years, it has always been just doing placement for new funds.

IPO investors will have a huge average up to think about (IPO price $1.03) but I can't find any compelling reasons not to do so.

actually the market price is $2.40 and the preferential offer price is now $2.35.

So actually not much loss if you don't wish to subscribe, not a very attractive discount anyway ... because those who wanted to average up would probably have done so long ago at a lower price..
