Am beginning to learn video editing, so looking for free video editing software for PC & Android to learn.

Currently looking at shotcut for PC. For Android, I thought there was a free Adobe premiere rush but not compatible with by tablet

Appreciate your recommendations … TIA!

PC. yeah I agree Blender features looks good. but since I'm just a beginner, so looking for something easier to start with. who knows I may move to blender in the future.
Using PC or Mobile bro? Blender is good! Depending the size you need to!

If you're new to editing and just want something with a gentle learning curve, I found Movavi to be way easier than stuff like Blender or even Shotcut. I started messing with Movavi Video Editor because I easily got lost with more complicated options, and honestly, I picked up the basics after just a short session. Their interface is clean and most of the tools are really straightforward, so I never felt overwhelmed as a beginner. The AI stuff like auto background removal is neat too. If you’re curious, I started with the free trial, and it was enough to get a feel for clipping, splicing, and adding titles without all that complicated pro stuff. You can get more details directly from movavi, if you want to check if the features fit what you’re looking for.

Blender is a 3D renderer, animator and editor...

If you want video editing, can try Davinci resolve. It has a free version.

Edit: Oh, didn't realize it's a post that necromancy a thread from 2020....
