what are your thoughts on this?
there are no benchmark for comparisions.

its under 50 for the highest tier .
seems like hard to claim though.. need 5 days back to back MC..

as freelancers, would you take it up?

Usually if something is hard to claim, might as well don't buy.

Here's what it says on the front page:

"Up to $200/day for 12 weeks."

Using my advanced math skills, that's a maximum possible payout of $16,800.

That's not insurance, not much anyway. That's a joke and completely inadequate. Absolutely you shouldn't buy this. You should instead build up more than that amount of emergency reserve funds and purchase only genuine (non-joke), essential, quality insurance. Genuine disability income insurance (DII) protects against this class of risks, but it actually protects.

does DII cover freelancers?

if i am a freelancer, how do i get proper DII or medical coverage?
