Hi, I've never had a BSOD until event A. for simplicity's sake I shall label events with A, B, C, etc., then shed light on them below. that, however, was an isolated incident. after a restart, everything's rock solid and stable. (As it was an isolated incident, I didn't take down the error code).
My next BSOD was after event B. The error message was WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. After restarting, I was repeatedly afflicted with BSODs (0xc000021a).
Event A: installation of a software
Event B: migration of my battlefield 4 from my HDD onto my SSD
The majority of BSODs are 0xc000021a and happened after event B, which made me wonder if hardware failure could be the reason? After all, I've been playing BF4 on my HDD without any issues before that. But my SSD is relatively new (1 year), SMART status is good, and my OS is installed on it and I've had no problems at all.
Any ideas?
Steps taken:
1. Uninstalled software (event A) temporarily.
2. Run a malware scan (found one toolbar thingy in my temp folder from Ask.com).
