One of my favorite dishes but good one ish hard to find. Some of them are really inconsistent. I tried to like Nam Sing at Old Airport but not really my preferred style.

I just ate most expensive hkm with my colleagues last night at KPO bar (somerset). $19 per plate (exclude gst + svc tax but can share 2-3 pax)

Luckily is nice (got wok hei) but if just 1-2 eat not worth.

Shiok HKM is wayyyy below mediocre level. Tried once at their defunct Woodlands outlet, and never went back again。

I guess the shiok franchise expanded too hiong.
They are unable to ensure the quality of the HKM fried by their employees with different cooking skills.
The above complaint is pretty common on a FB group hunting for HKM.
I have not tried any of their outlet yet.
May do it one day when I RUN into them.

i think Beauty World and Jurong East branches ones are ok. Maybe over-franchised and u kena a cmi chef

I assume that they follow the pattern of the fried rice franchise.

If their pricing continues this way other ppl will eat cheaper hkm.

the fried rice selling point is cos its similar to DTF with nice thick pork chop, hkm is hkm le… nothing special

Is the Bedok Corner HKM still surviving? It is one of the few that has more bee hoon than yellow noodles.
