you should get a close ended fund if you are looking for dividend. But then again , most people do not invest in the Us market for dividend yield.

use the FSM converter. the spread is around 0.25%- 0.3%.

If u tt in USD to FSM account, most likely there will be charges.

Hi guys, I plan to RSP to US ETF every month. I understand there will be a $1USD processing fee each month. Is there any other charges that I need to know of?

Dividend will also be 30% off because of the withholding tax.

from my own usage experience, it remains logged in for some time even after i exit the app.
will log out after a few hours it seems. or once i log in through other devices.

Settlement is T+2 days. You don’t get your money till 2 trading days later.

After selling , the amount will be available in the purchasing power though you havent receive the money yet.

If you want to trade using that , you can do so.

But if you want the actual money you have to wait 3 days later.

I've set up a monthly GIRO transfer for my RSP. After the transfer, is the money reflected in the available balance?

Just wondering as the money left my account on Friday after working hours but it hasn't been reflected on the FSMOne side yet.

Usually is on the same day but since yours left on Friday after office hours it may be reflected on Monday?

Check that the money is not earmarked for your RSP cause then your cash balance will be deducted and won't show it

Do note that there is a quarterly management fees charge of 0.05% per quarter for monies park in auto-sweep account. The charges is accrued daily and quarterly deduct from your auto-sweep available balance.

i wonder if its better to have a GIRO setup instead for FSM.

they give us 0.9% but take 0.2% as mangement fee

i thought auto sweep is a default account?

so if i dont use, i wont be charge?

i didnt know you can use FAST/Paynow , so the money will goes directly to cash account.
Then if you are buying USD ETF, manually transfer over?
