What are the fees involved if I RSP around $300 into IVV every month? Really want to diversify away from just G3B but am a little scared of all the hidden fees/charges that I'm not aware of when it comes to US ETFs and all :(

0.08% or minimum US$1 + 7% GST...So for US$300 the fee US$1.07...

Don't think you can as I just checked my Cash Account it clearly state the amount is already processing...

They stated this...

"The monthly deduction date for ETF RSP using Cash account will be on the 8th of the month."

So regardless if 8th is a working day or not, they will automatically deduct on the 8th...

Only for the Transaction dates for the shares is as follows:

"If the 8th is a business day, the transaction date for the ETF RSP subscription will be on next trading day.
If the 8th falls on a non-business day, the transaction date will take place on the second trading day after the 8th."

So you are supposed to topup your account by the 7th of the month so that FSM can put the amount on hold on the 8th and reflect the Transaction on the next working days or 2 working days later...

Hi,

Can i check with you guys? I've registered for RSP last week. But till today, Transaction date still shows as "To be confirmed". But $100 has been deducted from my cash account. I just want to know the price that they have entered based on yesterday's market. Is this situation normal as i thought they should have bought the shares yesterday already using the $100?

purchase of stock 08 Mar 2020 To be confirmed TTN SGD 100.00 - - RSP: ES3 STI ETF (SGX) Received

Hmm.....In my case, since 8th March is on Sunday, the transaction date will take place on the 10th then?

And just to clarify again, if 8th is on Friday, the transaction date will take place on next Monday then if it's a Trading day?

Correct?

Correct...I calculated, it should be at around $3.82 for ES3 if I calculated correctly from the refund and deducting all the fees, clearing fees and GST...

I inquired from FSMOne and noticed that when selling the RSP ETF (ES3), whenever you wish to sell it, if would be sold on the 15th and at that prevailing price. Not any price that you wish to sell beforehand. Is this a turn off?

Quote: "If you wish to apply for SELL ETF RSP, the transaction date will be on 15th of the month and the ETF will be sold on the prevailing price."

Even POSB Invest Saver, you can't set the price that you want to sell your shares for...I don't see it as a turn off and if you want more control, buy or sell it regularly anytime you want as FSM RSP is not suitable for your situation...

How does one become a silver tier client to enjoy the fixed 10 commission? Does it mean if I put in my first order to purchase 100k worth of ES3 for example the commission will be $10?

Any equity or instrument totalling 100k

Not too sure if it's cost or market value

I traded on FSM for the first time today. I find the interface easy. The flat fee commission is amazing if you are silver tier
