Speaking about democracy... democracy is really a powerful concept that can bring a country far and beyond....

Unlike UK, States etc.. Singapore is blessed, in terms of geographic. Singapore is a small island, which we can forgo having political parties playing a big part in our township management.

This is unlike other countries where each states has their very own set of economy to maintain. Hence having to consider township management capability of any particular party will play a part during election.

But as i said, Singapore is blessed geographically, hence if township management is forgo, and election are based solely on National issues with a functioning Gov that can debate on major issues would definitely bring this nation further then it is...

Just a pity that current incumbents places party's interest above people's interest... formation of GRC... passing a biased law regarding on how PA is to function..... and many other clear examples that Party>Peoples

If only we get to vote base solely on what candidates can bring to the table.

But sadly... due to power hunger of the incumbents , our democracy is crippled.

The longer they stay in power, the harder it'll be for singaporeans to move further and beyond.
