Hmm on the topic of light Japanese laptops, I believe Vaio is making a comeback in SG again ! Was browsing the Challanger website and there was a brief teaser of something coming back. The image of the laptop wasn't clear but could tell it wasn't a Fujitsu but looked a bit like Vaio.

DId a search and see that there's a new Vaio SG site now : https://www.vaio.com.sg/

(Unless it's been up for a while but I doubt it)

I don't think the site is fully up but i could see they had some of the newer products release this year like the Vaio portable display.

Today Japan had announced a new model for Vaio as well ! The SX14-R !

Fujitsu laptops are still lighter than Vaio but Vaio isn't that far behind. At the very least these two company's laptop are very distinct and have full ports.
