It all depends on whether the training programme designated Saturdays and Sundays as training days or not lor.

The reason for this is because for an ICT to be clocked as high-key, the training period needs to be a certain number of days. By starting on a Friday, Saturday/Sunday are both factored in, so maybe you only actually go back for seven days but your training period may be ten days inclusive of these weekends.

Whether you have to go back on weekends, will depend on your unit and training programme. If you are going outfield or something the week after, then they may require you to stay over the weekend to prepare.

That's provided the Saturdays and Sundays are really rest days. But as TS indicated in the third post, it seems that those two days are now designated as training days for this ICT. :o

I'm just giving him a possible reason for the "funny" date. That is just my experience with my unit and in my case, Saturday and Sunday were off days.

Of course it depends on the respective units' requirements and training programme. Ultimately it depends on the nature of one's high key.

that's what my unit did.

the ICT is from Wednesday to next Friday so just nice 10 days clock 1 high key even though sat/sun no training.
