Who the hell made it famous?

Many years back, i believe got a gang of instagram photographers taking photos of places, trying to hype it up and make themselves popular as well. Not sure if they were the first ones to take the photo but it succeeded. Turning ordinary locations into popular photospots just like thr mount fuji convenience store photospot.

didn't know about this hole but I was jogging a year back at fort canning and was running down the stairs. I got a shock seeing the super long line of people at the bottom at 730am, waiting for their turn to take a photo.

It was pretty weird
