Galaxy Express vs Galaxy S4

I am coming from a iPhone 3Gs, so it would still be an upgrade.

Can someone please tell me why I would want an S4 compared to an Express? Considering the Value of the money I am paying for.

I am tempted to get an Express because it's damn cheap compared to the S4, but of course with a performance sacrifice.

I am more of a "Functionality" guy. I dont mind that the resolution is lower, or camera is lower as long as it still take good pictures, im fine. Also I dont need the "Gesture" features on the S4.

Mostly will be doing Internet surfing once in a while so this i think is the determining factor... will it perform smooth enough?

Most importantly, Battery life... this one I understand S4 might win, from all the research ive done. What about 4G? S4 faster or the same as Express?

You can get almost 2 Galaxy Express from the price of the S4.

What I would do if I were you is to read and watch the youtube videos and see if the Express looks good enough.

Surfing the web on the Express should be manageable on its Dual Core chip as it has less screen resolution than the S4.

Heck, if you find the 3GS is usable to this day, the Express would be more than sufficient for your usage.

Almost all phones today can last at least one day to normal usage. If you find the battery life sucks, you can charge it by purchasing a cheap powerbank. Still much less than what you'll spend on the S4.

Got my i8730 in HKG. Battery life, slightly better than 4S. Functionality...I find it great as it literally is a value form money smartphone.

Screen is also good actually, under sunlight visibility was ok. No regrets getting this phone.

I finally got the phone. When I was there, I made up my mind and thought I would be dumb if I didnt get it.

So far, ard 6hrs of usage now, I dont have any regrets. I have played around with my sibling's S3, and it felt kind of the same. I mean for 400$, I don't feel any regrets.

I was surprised it was still in stock!

At $398 it is def a very good bargain, since it is a samsung and running LTE network with super amoled display.

I just bought one also . compared to my note 2, it is not as zippy but it doesn't lag really. And the screen resolution is really decent. Super amoled screen is really superb.

It's a good buy!

I come to realise that its still very wide for my big hands when I wanna do 1 hand texting or browsing. Gotta get used to it...

Now im looking for casings to protect this phone before any damage is done from dropping it when 1 hand texting. Haha.

Let me know if u find lobang for casings. These type of niche model can be quite hard to find casing lol.

Very true. If ure into the otterbox-like cases, check out "Ballistic" cases.

For me, I used otterbox on my BB9780 and really liked the sturdyness, but for this new phone, i thonk these type of cases might not fit in my jeans so I got myself a cheapo TPU material casing from ebay.
