i used on my gf s3 same thing

cant be the usb cable right? cos i used the original cable to poke inside my portable charger.

Did you use the cable provided with the portable charger? It works on my note 2 using the cable that came with the charger, haven't tried the cable from samsung, charging my portable charger now.

Ok just tried out the 2 replacement batteries.

Test was done with max brightness, max volume and airplane mode. Played a 1 hour 1080p video using MX player.

First 2 are the 3rd party batteries and the last one is Samsung original battery.

Not bad considering I paid $30 for 2 batteries + charger. Link for anyone interested.

I just bid on the casesity auction on the black/white casing.. I only opt for the casing alone. Like the rugged look and it also offers the protection round the bezel..
