QI is just a bunch of coils and two pins to connect to phone. Nothing big or challenging. The circuitry to support wireless charging must still be built by the phone manufacturer.

You need someone to modify the kernel and a proper charger that supports > 1A charging. Most charges max output is 1A, haven't seen 2A one.

I was skeptical initially when i got it for my s3 as well. Fortunately, things turned out well after the first batch so I am bringing them in for Note 2 as well and its the same manufacturer.

QI is an industry standard which is incorporated into the Nexus 4 and Lumia 920 too. =D

The kernel can limit the charging current unfortunately. Forget to check, tonight will do that.

Confirm will take 2x longer. If charging overnight won't see difference.

Those US docks, can they take input voltage of up to 240v? Cos some US devices only 110v input. I literally fried a watch winder (smoke coming out with burnt rubber smell) because of this.
