Hello guys.

How long does it take your Galaxy Not II to charge to full?
Lets say from 10-20%.

On original Samsung battery.

For reputable brand in power supply area, you can try Innergie AC15

Innergie l mMini AC15 l 15W Dual USB Adapter

It's a 15W (5V/3A) mobile charger that can charge 2 USB devices simultaneously.

This can be bought at Challenger at about S$26+ (with member discount).

My S3 can gained 50% in 1hr.

Make sure when u go settings, your battery shows AC charging and not USB charging. I encounter this problem and what i did was to off the charger from the mains and on it again. It may take several tries.

There is a current limiter built inside the phone. The max current it draw is 1A.

The device draws 1A. Although the given adapter states max current output is 2A. The device only draw 1A.

I think you get the charging information confused. The charger outputs 2A. Device maximum operating current is rated to be 1A. You are safe to assume the net charging current is 1A when the CPU is working 100% and all other settings boosted up.

Under normal charging condition when screen is off, device is idling, the device draws around 300-500mA.

You still have a net charging gain of about 1.5A.

If i turn off my phone, i get 2A maximum charging input into the device. thus i need about less than 2 hours to get it fully charged..

Download this galaxy charging current app and then check what is the current when note 2 is charged..

Using note 2 original charger and charging USB cable.. It shows 1.7A and refresh and it show 1.1A after 1 min..

Then using Samsung ace 2 charging USB cable with note 2 original charger.. And this time shows 1.8A all the way till fully charged..

Therefore confirms it is note 2 usb charging cable issue that results in my note 2 slow charging issue..

For sharing as I find this way of solving the slow charging issue work for me..

Then you shall look at what is the value under "Now".. and not "Maximum"..

If it shows 700 under "Now", something is either wrong with the cable or charger and worst case is both cable and charger

Do you see the "paper clip" or "attach" symbol on the top right hand corner of whatsapp app? tap on it and you can attach video, picture files, etc..
