Try fit in the TPU to the note 3 first, and then the polycarbonate hard case on the TPU.
or
Try fit in the TPU and polycarbonate hard case together to the note 3.

Which is easier, anyone?

For me, fit in the TPU and polycarbonate hard case together then to the note 3 easier. I dun find it difficult to take in and out and it fits very nicely. Zero effort

Just got the red slim armor from p2o too. It actually fits quite easily, have both the TPU and polycarbonate hard case fitted together first and just slot your phone into the casing.

Fits very well and snugly, no loose button press whatsoever. The only downside i notice would be the back casing, it's a finger print magnet

is the lens recessed?

Mine the camera area not aligned nicely....

is the lens recessed?

Very... And on top of that there are "feets" that elevate the case.
