hmm what's the diff between the momax and x-max versions?
both adix have ah

I'm using the x-max. According to adix, he says the x-max has better clarity. The lyophobic coating and oleophobic coating works pretty well since smudges are less obvious, and water dripped onto the screen behaves like the imos screen protector.

And it works with the S - view as well.

The best 64GB micro SD card for Galaxy Note 3

Found this link, i think it's a good read. :)

I hate to repeat this again and again and again.
Sequential speeds are worthless. Your usb bus will most likely limit you to about ~25MB/s, that's the kind of read speed you will get if you read files from the phone. Writing to the phone from the PC is very unlikely to exceed ~15MB/s, provided you do a sequential write.

Within the phone, the files are scattered everywhere. Unless you are reading/writing a chunk of a single file, e.g. reading a HD video, or recording a 4K video, having high sequential read/write speeds are worthless. Even so, a Class 4 card can playback a HD video without lag. The camera doesn't take photos in raw format thus the file size is still relatively small (except in burst mode).

Showing people how fast these cards perform sequentially is very much useless since they are all usually very much slower when accessing random locations, which are more akin to real-world usage. You are better off getting spending your money on the cheapest 64gb card from a distro with a good rma process.

Agreed...cheapest Class10 will suffice. But data reliability is important too so do make backups frequently...

thanks! probably drop by his shop later when I go NLB

He's not open today...

Xmax normally SP with oleophobic or tempered glass?

I'm not sure about their normal ones, never seen them before. But for the tempered glass one, it should be oleophobic and lyophobic since the oil smudges are less obvious, and water forms droplets on the screen when I tried dripping some on it. Compared to my previous ultra crystal, the difference is significant, even in image quality.

2 cents opinion: Film SP vs Tempered glass SP

Hi all,

Would like to share with all a fast one on SP on note 3 as i have used both type of products on my note 3.

Got a matt plastic film SP on my 1st day of Note 3 phone purchase - cost = $10
  • Finger prints smudges still visible
  • Not nice to touch, fiction is higher
  • Quality of display diminishes

2 weeks later, a tempered glass SP @ a Burlington HP accessory shop - cost = $35
  • Fantastic display
  • significant feel improvement on contact with screen
  • Finger prints smudges only visible if you tilt the phone and observe closely
  • Still fits with my S-view cover, SP only 0.3mm thick

Morale of the story = go tempered glass SP, the plastic film SP era has passed :)

Strongly recommend to get it from a shop with application services as it is much harder to apply the Tempered glass SP compared to its counter parts.

Regards
cwchek
