redeemed the limited edition accessory kit from samsung store today...

but my desktop dock it does not work... when plug in the note 3... nothing detected and it is not charging.. already fixed the usb 3 cable from the power adapater nicely to it..

could it be due to my newly installed spigen sgp hybrid neo case?

anybody with the Love Mei bumper tried removing the brand name?

My friend wiped it off using alcohol wipes. No trace left

I don't know how your friend did it but on the black casing (reviewed here), the brand name was not printed on top of the black paint, but rather the black paint was sprayed around the brand name. The base colour of the bumper casing is aluminium. I tried first using rubbing alcohol and then a Dremel to remove the brand name to discover this. In other words, for coloured case bumpers (except maybe the silver) you'd need to either paint over the brand name or paste a sticker over it should you wish to get rid of it.

On a related note, the Love Mei casing does cover up the temperature and humidity sensor hole on the lower right side of the phone (located next to the S-Pen). A 1.5mm drill bit will easily rectify that, should if you wish to liberate that sensor.

Car mount

For those contemplating a car mount, the Exogear ExoMount 2 works very well with large phones such as the Galaxy Note 3.

The spring-loaded clamp is strong and the base in particular is incredibly secure, utilising a sticky material combined with a vacuum seal. It is also easy to re-position. The ball joint allows for 360 degree rotation, so no problems using the phone either in portrait or landscape.
