for those who are keen to know how well does the dreamviva (or dreamvista?) cases stand against falls, let me share my experience... so i was at the beach with my gf, dropped my phone on chest height on the rocky floor. first thought was "ho seh liao!". to my surprised, no scratches on the edges, even though the top right corner is exposed to cater for korean's version antenna, the case itself took some damage, phone bezel is totally fine to my surprise. screen had no problem cause i was using glass protector.

personally, i think the glass protector really helps a lot, hereby calling out to all bros to use it if it is okay, never know when will it help u (i never expected myself to drop my phone, never once have i dropped my phone literally!)

For me, the least unexpected of circumstances was that my cat jumped onto my bedside desk and kongfu's slde-kicked my Note 3 onto the floor after hitting the concrete wall! I was literally seeing my Note 3 "flew" away from my desk! It was from a meter height!

Dreamviva case protected it well even with such 0.3mm soft rubber material!

I'm lost. Got a pic of this dream viva? Ytd so lucky. Drop my note3 twice. Top corner on both left and right have minor scratches now. Was using cheap taobao bumper which flew off upon impact. But to to be fair, the bumper took lots of impact and scratches on the lower part of the phone, entire row some more!

Since then I'm using spigen neo hybrid again. Oddly it makes my phone thicker which gives me a better grip.

erm like ive just posted it protected the phone against the bad drop. but i think a glass SP is a must to have. it really gives a lot of protection. i think if there wasnt a glass SP my screen would be in pieces now

Oh I'm sorry! Didn't realised yours was the dreamviva too. What's the cost of your case? Got any pics of the case after the fall? And does it protect the bottom of the phone?

actually i like it better than the neo hybrid and slim armor (which i overbot and have tons.. anyone keen to take it off me cheaply pls pm). Maybe cuz it has the front cover to make it look more "balanced"

weight wise its okay too.. not more than slimarmor def.. everything feels super solid and wel made

thanks for the recommendation on the ebay case.This case is slim and provide smooth edge on the side.

I don't use screen protector..easily scratched and the touch a bit resisted. My iphone4 screen is perfect till this day. I tot samsung screen will be the same till i noticed a tiny scratch. Got myself a cheap glass SP for Qoo10...$10 or $11 only. Maybe 1st time using glass SP...quite satisfy and happy than normal plastic one. And surprisingly anti-fingerprint also.
