Galaxy note2 Charging Problem

Im having issues with charging my note2.
Everything else is functioning properly.

When i connect the charging cable to my note2
this is what happened

Shows charging signal with the battery icon on top right showing charging.
Suddenly shows connected to docking mode (on normal wall socket charger !?!?! ) , keeps disconnecting charging and reconnecting charging.

sometimes it stays charged until full.
sometimes it stops charging halfway.

once it charged finish and switched itself off.

tried with different charger and cables but same problem persists.
whether charging on wall socket or laptop. same thing happens.
now i cant even access the folders of my note2 on my laptop.


Anyone knows what problem this is and is there anyway i can remedy this on my own before i bring it down for repair?

It also happen to me sometimes can charge sometimes cannot charge. I change to a S$8.00 cable then ok liao. But since you already change charger and cable but still got problem then I think the charging port on your note 2 might be faulty liao. Maybe you can bring down to samsung service centre and let them check.
