Galaxy s3 wifi disabled

I can't connect to my home wifi it shows 'disabled' below my wifi network name. When I tap connect it prompts me to type my password even though it is correct. However I can connect to my wifi network with my laptop and iPod touch. Also I made a trip to the service centre and my s3 can connect to their wifi network. Anyone knows why I'm getting 'disabled' status?

Firmware corruption might be the real culprit. In computer, firmware driver can be reinstalled. But for phones, not sure if this can be done..
