I completed Ratchet and Clank recently, it's very fun and cinematic, the cutscenes are taken from the movie. It's a game based on the movie based on the game. :s13:

Uncharted Collection is cheap, less than $20 for second hand copy. The mechanics are outdated cause it's PS3 era game but the story makes up for it.
I would highly recommend playing through the first 3 game before playing 4 but every Uncharted game is a standalone game.
Lost Legacy is only if you're a hardcore UC fan and want more cause UC4 is the "end" of the series. Each game is around 10-15 hours so you can finish 1 game over the weekend. :s12:

The Yakuza series is a definite must play IMO, it's a manly game. Start from 0 then play Kiwami and wait for Kiwami 2.

Thank you for the reply. Just bought Uncharted 4 as well as Lost Legacy.

Looking at the list of exclusive games currently on sale (on SG psn store), if you like (semi) open world games, must try the Yakuza series (start with "0" which is the prequel, "kiwami" which is a remake of 1, then jump to "6" which is the end but doesn't require playing previous games first). At least try Yakuza 0, you will find a small-ish open world modeled after real world Tokyo district, nice combat, tons of mini-games and great story too (plus many wacky side-quests that are truly Japanese).

And of cos the must-play is Horizon Zero Dawn (which has a good expansion, so get the complete edition instead). It's essentially the game of the year for ps4 last yr. The combat is great (can stealth or snipe if you prefer to play that way), has some RPG upgrade elements, jaw-dropping graphics, and engaging story that makes you want to find out more, and amazing creature designs (think armored dinosaurs)

God of War is the best this year (some say this generation) but it's still not discounted much yet, so may want to wait. I would recommend inFamous Second Son too but it's not on sale currently. It's a ps4 launch title and is still impressive today (it has an expansion too but personally I don't think it's that good).

If you like horror/slasher movies, then Until Dawn is freaking awesome. It has lots of replay value too as it has branching stories where your choices matter.

If you like RPGs, then Persona 5, but the price is not too low yet.

Since this is game deal thread, I am only focusing on great games with nice discounts :s13:. So at least get those in bold (plus the Uncharted series) and wait for better price on the rest (plus Ratchet and Clank).

Already bought Horizon, GTS, Last of Us and GOW 3. New to the PS scene. Any other games that are must buys? Not keen on shooter games that are non exclusive on PS.

I'd recommend Bloodborne if you don't already own it, its a must own title if you have a PS4, but be aware that the game can be quite punishing at times.

Thanks! Already bought HZD and the entire reason I own a PS in the first place is because of GOW! Yakuza is still a little pricey for me especially when it is no longer PS exclusive. I might wait a bit to get it on PC when the price drops.

Are there any decent 2 person games you would recommend? Outside of the usual sports games that is. Hoping to find something to get the gf involved too.

With regards to games downloaded thru PS+, do we get to keep the games even after we cease being a member? Do we get to delete and re-download such games free games?

Even if the game still exists on ps4 you can't play if you're no longer a member for games that are from ps plus. While you're a member, you can always delete and redownload.

You can't go wrong with Lego games, though they are not ps4 exclusive. Tons to choose from, just pick whichever movie or IP you like and start there. (There was a Lego sale a couple of weeks ago, over liao.)

Or if you like hack-and-slash, Diablo 3 needs no introduction (note that the console version has redesigned controls, making the whole game feel faster pace than PC version... according to reviews anyway, I haven't played on pc). Divinity Original Sin should be quite good too, it has split screen where the 2 players can be miles away doing completely unrelated things (Divinity 2 is coming soon).

There are quite a few games where the second player just plays a support role, with minimum things to do, like Rayman.

As for exclusives, Knack 2 should be quite good (I am still waiting for better price). The levels change when playing coop. And of cos LittleBigPlanet 3 is a must play, especially co-op (the platforming can get rather hardcore though).

Then there are the PlayLink titles (use mobile phone to control the game), especially Hidden Agenda.

And, while it's not really a coop game, Until Dawn is virtually one. You can have one person playing, another just watching like watching a movie and when the action heats up, she will start giving instructions (go left, go right, go hide...) without realising it. The other people not holding the controller will be very much involved. This is what lead to the developer making Hidden Agenda, which basically lets everyone get involved directly by using their phone.

Here's one list:

You can play those free PS+ games so long as you are a PS+ member. That means can delete and re-download.

When you stop being a PS+ member, you lose access to those free games. You can of course still play the games you purchased digitally.

If you become a PS+ member again in the future, then those free games you had access to previously will be usable again.

Hooted gravity rush 2.

I have both D3 and Divinity and wouldn't recommend to play with a gf. It does get repetitive and story heavy after 4-5 hrs game play. Its probably more fun with ur dungeon crawling buddies.

1. Lovers in Dangerous SpaceTime
2. Guacamellee
3. Guns, Gore and Cannoli
4. Mega Coin Squad

11. Tumblestone
12. Dont Starve Together
13. Fat Princess Adventures

When ur working, have a family or kids. Where got time to finish 100 % games quickly or meet and trade at good or fair price.

I would rather go digital and hoot when sales. Slowly game.

Thanks for clarifying. I guess i will need to complete Black Ops 3 before my membership expires.

What about those games you purchased with discounts from being a PS+ member? Do they come with similar restrictions?

PS4 games usually retain their value quite well, bought Yakuza 0 at $35 last year, now people still selling at $35. :s22:

Just put meetup spot near your house and put selling price at slightly below market price on Carousell, very easy to get rid of old games and get back some money.
