lol, didn't take long :s13:

btw, ppl are expecting a "golden week" sale this weekend, even though we already had a flash sale in Apr. Traditionally they have a flash sale on Japanese games during Japan labor day golden week. (Might be why the Apr flash sale moved earlier.)

it's EA game. expected...
every alternate month will be on sales on asia store.

Asia PS+ IGC - May 2017

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYuYkhyJvxw

Video is basically same so I won't embed here, but on the youtube description, they said:

Published on May 1, 2017
This month's free games include: "Tales from the Borderlands ", "Abzu", "Curses ‘n Chaos", "Type: Rider" and "TEKKEN™ TAG TOURNAMENT 2" Get playing!

So the last game added is Tekken Tag 2 (ps3 game). Total only 5 games (again).

I hope they are not removing the 6th Jap/chinese from SG again.
I rather have the chinese/jap version then nothing.

Ya, a lot of the titles were on sale before at much lower price. I only bot ps3 SteinsGate at us$3, that's about all I find well priced.

US vs Asia PSN sale

Hi, I have a question. I have both Asia and US PSN. My main account is using Asia PSN.
I just recently bought Persona 5 and FFXV, both R1 and I would like to buy DLCs for both games.
My question is would it be cheaper if I wait for US PSN sale to buy the dlcs or should I sell my R1 copy for an R3? I'm not sure how often the DLCs go on sale for both Asia/US store or if they will even go on sale.

I have no problem using Paypal and PCgamesupply for digital codes but is it really cheaper buying it than buying the same game available in Asia PSN store? For example, I want to buy rocket league GOTY, asia store costs SGD33.70 while in US it costs 25USD. When I buy a digital code from pcgamesupply it will cost me about SGD37 to buy 25USD game which is slightly more expensive than buying digital locally.

Should I just wait for US PSN games to go on sale and hope for the DLCs to go on sale too? For those who mainly use US PSN, do you find buying games cheaper or about the same price or slightly more expensive?

Any input would be appreciated :D

I don't think its worth it. Unless you can somehow make a profit or break even out of selling R1/buying R3, the additional cost will just offset whatever price difference, if any, for the dlc from different regions. Plus its a hassle.

for 4 bucks, The Order 1886 is a steal. I bought worse games at higher prices, so I'm going in with a low expectation.
Honestly the game is rather good, just very short. My main complaint is that they wanted to do everything in-game instead of pre-rendering some cutscenes, as a result, certain important part I feel they skipped over.

Especially the blimp crash scene. Typically such a big scene would be pre-rendered, showing big explosions and basically Michael Baying it. Instead, when the first explosion goes off, starting the whole crash, the screen goes black, then next, already crashed, black screen, only voices, our guy crawling out from the smoke/fire.
Also due to the in-game natural, when the location switches, the game has to load in a lot of new data during the transition. They did successfully make this seamless, no load screen, but they did that by having really long in-game cutscene, sometimes with long boring dialogs, just before the transition.
