Done it.. But still stalker 2 freezes mid play.. No issue playing it on my lenovo 5. Same goes for division 2... Not sure if D2 anti cheat software n UE5 have issue with 13th gen cpu...
Reinstall window. Remove your intel setup. Go to SLS and just buy CPU + MOBO + RAM go home replace.I think for now i avoid playing d2 n stalker 2 on my pc. If let's say i switch to amd, wat should i do to my main windows drive? Wat other steps dat i have to do? Any stores selling 3pc bundle(cpu, mobo n ram)?
Shot in the dark but try to run your RAM at stock speed.Im having freezes on games such as stalker 2, wukong, older games like ac origins, rdr2 n some others.. How do i check for the causes or wat shud i look out for? I'm on 13600k with 7900xtx playing on 2k monitor. Giga Z790 aorus elite ax n ripjaws 32gb ram. Xmp enabled. No mods on mentioned games. It was all ok b4. Smooth gameplay. Kind of annoyed knowing dat dis hardware pairing doesn't have any issues playing on 2k or 4k. MB bios is the latest. Andrenalin settings is default. Really need a solution as it's only been 1-2 years with this setup/build. This will be an ongoing thread until it's solve.
A friend of mine had a black screen/freezing issue, initially we thought it was the display cable/pcie power cable, ended up being a loose gpu cable at the power supply. Might be worth a shot checking that to be sureUpdate : Currently only fallout 4 n cp2077 is the only game that doesn't freezes. Played breakpoint n other mentioned games, still freezes. Whenever it happened, mobo still got power. Doesn't blackout
You did not explain if it's a short freeze, long freeze or permanent freeze ? Does this freeze happen only on a few games you mentioned and most of the games it running fine ?Im having freezes on games such as stalker 2, wukong, older games like ac origins, rdr2 n some others.. From my experienced, stalker 2, div 2, gr breakpoint n ac origins freezes mid game. Upon starting n playing those games(1-2mins), screen blackout with no audio. But rgb components in the case is running. Press Windows button, nothing. Alt+tab, nothing. Press power button to restart is the solution. I did try waiting n the max i go is 30mins b4 i restart. Had the thought to change to amd but since not all games in my library are affected n also cause i still able to play emulator games, decided not to change. You did not explain if it's a short freeze, long freeze or permanent freeze ? Pc will work fine if disable xmp? No compromises?Shot in the dark but try to run your RAM at stock speed.
XMP disabled. See if its ram issue. i.e. RAM uplorry (but still can work without XMP).
PC a little slower lor.Pc will work fine if disable xmp? No compromises?
yeah this is exactly what my friend was getting. Perhaps something related to power supply or the gpu. Should probably check all the wires to be sure that the issue isnt a loose cable. From my experienced, stalker 2, div 2, gr breakpoint n ac origins freezes mid game. Somehow that's the root cause. I was using gpu extension n i noticed 1 cable where there's a gap of dot size between the 2 cables. Aft secure it n play back those affected games for long hrs, no issue so far. Will use single cable instead of pigtails next time.A friend of mine had a black screen/freezing issue, initially we thought it was the display cable/pcie power cable, ended up being a loose gpu cable at the power supply.
