Gaming desktop - Mid Level

Hi I am thinking to upgrade my son's desktop. His current Aftershock specification is:

I5 11400F Processer + RTX 3060
GIGABYTE B560M
ZOTAC Gaming GeForge RTX 3060 Twin Edge
800@ FSP Hydro Pro 80+ Bronze
8GB x2 KLEVV Bolt XR DDR4 3600

This desktop was more than 5 years old. Is there a better option beside Aftershock? I don't need high end. Maybe mid range. Is it possible to get anything better around $2? His usual usage is online gaming Such as GTA, roblox, mech warrior etc

TBH the games he play this PC will do fine.
Just need to do mainteance like dusting, reinstall Windows etc.
Remove Aftershock Windows image install a clean copy of Windows
for better performance.

RAM prices are very high so not likely you can get a gaming desktop at cheap price.

If you know how to do, download Windows installer have to remove all partition than install from fresh.
If in doubt bring to shop to do it.

GTA and MW seems to be more GPU demanding games. Nid to know what monitor resolution is he using? 1080p? Roblox will be fine with the current specs.
If u r tiking to upgrade with 2k budget, go for amd 5000 series CPU and u can reuse back ur DDR4 RAM. Add another 16GB RAM to make it 32GB. The rest of the budget u can get a good GPU.
