If all you need is a durable stereo headphone without any of the fancy surround sound technology, you should just get a pair of V-Moda headphones and the boom mic accessory. I've had gaming headsets break on me in just months but the V-Moda just troops on.

Otherwise, the secondhand Astro A40 in the Electronics Bazaar looks like a nice buy.

Was thinking of getting a dt770 pro and get a mic. Better choice? :) do I need a amp for the 250ohms ver
